everytime iv seen EZ at the local 'liquid envy' etc he has played the same shit.. cant really compare it to agarage rave tho!
 
Im gonna try and make the effort to get to the nearest RAM that I can cause I've heard do much about the event/club so who knows what might happen, I wont be happy till I have the ticket in my hand though!
 
I think the problem is that people have such high expectations of Ram. If the line up is not as top bollocks as previous, people pick up on it straight away. I think maybe we have been just a bit too lucky with the line ups over the last year.
 
DJ fuckin EZ! I might have to do this not sure yet... def worth it for DJ EZ tho.

But when you think about it what could they do? Ring Hype and tell him that they don't want him anymore because people aren't keen? And as annoying as it is they can't get rid of Sub Focus or Chase & Status on the lineups any time soon. Break has begun tempting me to go to this night....
 
Not really a big enough draw for me to go there, maybe if I was closer then yeah. EZ is a sick Garage DJ but I cant really see it going down to well there but who knows.

It's more that it's a really uninteresting line-up in the first place. Look at last Friday and next month's Hospitality (David Rodigan!, Klute, Ramadanman, Spor, Scratch Perverts). It's all about balancing the mentalists to make you jump around - Andy C etc - with the more left-field stuff, and Ram are obviously not afraid of doing that, so why make a line-up that is full of obviously good DJs who I love to see play but who are frankly the sort of people you'd EXPECT to play at a venue like matter, and what I want are a few unexpected elements. People saying how lucky they feel to have heard Alix Perez & Spectrasoul on the matter system basically sums up what I'm trying to say - something unique to give the night that little sparkle.

I'm suprised they haven't had Fresh down there yet, especially with all the hype around his fourthcoming album and a few of the massive dubs he's got floating around at the moment

Would be nice to see Spor or Noisia in room 1 again as well, then maybe somebody like Cyantific just for a different vibe again

If Ram are happy to put on Break, Spectrasoul, Alix Perez and Ed Rush & Optical then why not somebody like Logistics or Cyantific, haven't seen Commix on a line up either yet?

And why the fuck is Culture Shock not in room 1 every time, his set in room 2 last friday was wicked, and errr, he is signed to Ram is he not?!

I say give him a 1am slot and see how it goes down ... I'd bet good money that he wouldn't disappoint, annoys me that Chase & Status can just walk into room 1 nowdays because of their recent success when somebody like him (and Xample) clearly need a miracle to get a set at a decent time in room 1
