cant use massive in reason unfortunately but you can apply similar techniques

the "timewarp"-synth is most possibly just a sin with a cut off lfo.

it also sounds like an arpeggiator is used to make that bleepy/techno effect in that timewarp synth and bypasses it off and on through out the track

the cutted noise your taking about /\/\ is sidechain gating. you put a gate over the synth noise then trigger it to open with an external input.

alot of the trance heads do it with pads and trigger them with a drum loop or somthing with an interesting rhythm.

I dont think its a sidechaining effect as the stutter is to quick. Might be wrong or you might be talking about a different sound but i think it would have been done with the performance stepper on Massive.
