    What holds you to simply put a note one octave down in your DAW as you're doing your pads?

    this was a favorite of mine when i was PC based. Now that I'm a Mac user i endlessly hunt for a similar vst for my platform to no avail so far =(

    All the ones on the Audio Assault page are pretty dope. Transient deserves to be pointed out by itself. Also Bass Grinder (used lightly though, push it too hard and sounds shitty imho)

    Bit specialized, but a great inter sampling meter plugin from the masters of audio Solid State Logic

    Not officially available anymore, but you can still find it on the web, along with info on how/why to use it (gearslutz has a useful thread on it)

    I don't use alot of vsts in my tracks. And that plugin keeps me from having to duplicate everything and creating a mess.
    Yea I just like it
