i'd suggest sl3, you can record straight through it that way.

i have it and i like it, not sure how different sl2 is bar the lack of a record function/capacity to use a 3rd deck

ebay for a bargain.
the boxes seem real sturdy so they should still work fine.
only thing might be the control vinyl's but u can pick up new ones.

i got sl1 for just under 200
tbh i dont have a problem with sl1. i know some will say get the newer versions they do this and that and what not. i dont know what it is tho, too scared to find out and then spend money.

could be wrong man. i would check up on that. sl1 might suit your requirements.

I did this man, picked up SL4 for about £60 a month for a year. Yeh you pay a bit more for it than you would do on ebay but I would never have the committment to save up £600.
