How you think this bass was made?

The example of the bass i`m trying to make starts at
1:27

Here`s another example, starts at 1:13

I tried doing it in massive by experimenting with the scream and comb fiters using simple waveforms like square and saw beacuse other ones only made it worse. Then i tried FM but got nowhere.
Do any of you have any ideas regarding this?
I think its a cool sound and it would be neet to have it in my arsenal
I`m desperate here so I beg for anyone to help me out

Pitch envelope is your friend here, add it under the OSC, mess about with that.

Do this then and slow down the envelopes/LFOs and pitch it down a bit, then a bit of extra saturation/tube distortion and I reckon you'd be pretty close.
