and 31 Records legend Doc Scott, and breakthrough artists like Amoss and Xtrah, who are at the forefront of the scene right now.

Forward thinking drum & bass label Diffrent take over room 2, bringing with them a full roster of bass driven talent.

For our sixth Mixmag Live show we welcome one of the most exciting producers on the planet, Sub Focus.

Whilst he may be known primarily as a drum 'n' bass producer, his crunching dubstep drops and soaring house vibes have found fans in all corners of the bass music spectrum. His recent live set-up has also generated an incredible amount of hype with his epic visuals and hypnotic lighting displays gaining him bookings all over the world.

After the success of his self-titled album on Ram Records his last single, 'Out Of The Blue', propelled him back into the spotlight ahead of his upcoming album, which is scheduled for release later this summer. With big support from Djs like Annie Mac and Zane Lowe it's already looking to be a huge release.

Also playing on the night is another bass music megastar: Friction.

A living legend of the drum 'n' bass scene with seminal releases on some of the biggest d'n'b labels in the world, including Valve, Hospital Records and Metalheadz, in 2004 he founded the label Shogun Audio, now established as one of the leading labels in the scene.

There's a reason Pete Tong's describes him as "one of the big dogs".

Our special guest on the night is Los Angeles born 'Noise' producer, Kill The Noise.

With a cracking 2011 under his belt and releases on Deadmau5', Mau5trap label, Skrillex's OWSLA and his own imprint with 5x DMC champion DJ Craze, Slow Roast Records, KTN is one of the hottest properties on the planet right now. This special set at Village Underground will showcase why.

Those attending the Mixmag Live with Sub Focus will also recieve a copy of the September issue of Mixmag. It will quite a collectors piece, as not only will Sub Focus star on the cover and mix the iconic cover CD - he'll aso be guest-editing ten pages of the magazine.

This artist is a surefire future superstar, grab your chance to see him play at an intimate venue before he becomes stadium-only!

This Saturday 8Th Dec Intense Records from Chelmsford present the next musical journey of their ever growing and hugely popular night ‘Mojo’ @ Hooga on Victoria Road.
Mojo is a new night playing a cross section of dance music spanning all genres including Dubstep, Garage, Reggae, Liquid Funk, Minimal D&B & Dubstep.

So far MOJO's opening nights have been absolutely off the wall, featuring forward thinking Drum & Bass producers Marcus Intalex & Alix Perez reaching capacity every time! For the next instalment and the last of 2012, Mojo presents dBridge from Exit Records.

A veteran producer and one of the most experienced artists in drum & bass, Dbridge is at the heart of some the most exciting collaborative partnerships drum & bass has ever seen from Future Forces to Bad Company and mostly recently Club Autonomic.

Hosting proceedings will be the one and only SP:MC, originally from Chelmsford and now representing Exit Records Shogun Audio and A Bunch of Cuts. SP:MC has managed to establish himself as one of the busiest & most innovative MC’s on the circuit. Host of choice for the likes of Friction, dBridge and Instra:mental, his distinctive yet versatile style has also made him a favourite with top dubstep DJs such as Youngsta, Skream and Benga.
