probably a dumb thread but really feeling DnB on this kinda vibe

Just it's stompyness and the way it uses those vocal samples.. Can anyone recommend me any more tunes like this?

love that tune. not sure I'd call it weird, or that obscure tbh. there was a pretty nifty heist remix

this one from heist has a vaguely similar vibe too...

Have you checked out Lynx's back catalogue? Definitely interested to see what he's got next on Hospital, so I guess he's not really obscure, pretty niche though.

Wouldn't call them weird, more like standard neurofunk, but i think you'll like the vocal usage:

I think you could argue a lot of dnb in the last 20 years would fit into this category once you take out vocal tunes (inc. ragga) and get down to instrumentals.

    That is f'in wicked.

Few from me on a late 90s vibe

Not sure if it's in the vein of what you're looking for but that hook made me think of this:

I'd recommend a good look through Sappo's whole back catalogue, he made some great tracks that got seriously overlooked

Will have a look. My Sappo collection doesn't go much further than ding dong bass tbh.

    Sappo needs more youtube uploaders...
