It's just down to preference, I vastly prefer Cubase over FL honestly.

Yeah, that's because Image-Line doesn't like dubstep, so everytime you put the tempo of the project at 140BPM, and assign a kick on the first and a snare to the third, you get this message: "I'm sorry, but we think you're trying to make a dubstep song. FL Studio are not made to do dubstep, so switch to Cubase or Logic. Now, let me re-assign this kick and snare to a 4-on-the-floor pattern, and lets do some house, instead."
