This is my 1st attempt at DnB. I usually create 90's rave style beats, or garage so please comment, good or bad

its not bad yeah, pretty mellow and chilled man gd style, good for a first dnb tune.

only advice i can give u to work on is that with using that break, the beat sounds really thin, its too high end and sounds flimsy, what u need to work out how to do EVENTUALLY is to lay down a seperate hard Kick and Snare down on the beat to make it solid u know, i dont know if u have done that in other genres but its a must for using breaks like this,

its alright fella! good first go.

I think I know what you mean. Like layering another kick over the ones that are already there to give it a little more depth?

And similar with the snares?

I'm still trying to grasp the whole mastering thing, but I'll get there one day.
