i just got it. i was wondering how to hook this up to my pc. what do i need. i got a midi to usb and i hooked it up but no sound i have cool edit pro and fl8xxl..

Explain some more. A video would help best.

Check that the sound outputs first. Then install the midi to usb's software, then get 2 midi cables and one to out and that chord to the midi in and so on.

The midi-usb cable is just for midi control, it doesn't deliver any sound. You need to hook up the synth's outputs into a mixer or your computers input to get the sound out of there.
