Im looking to get some new monitors and am looking at Mackie. Im looking at the MR5's and was just wondering if anyone has them and what they think?

Ello dude, i dont have these , i have the Stanton ATM6's which rock, i think they are based on some other speaker, cant remember which one......BUT the reason why im replying is that i did a search for reviews of monitors and came up with these.....as with all expensive purchases i always do a search for 'customer reviews' and i found this which might help you if no one on here actually has them, then you can make your own mind up dude.....scroll to the bottom of this page: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MR5/reviews/#anchor and have a gander, hope that helps............by the looks of things you cant go wrong with these dude

Try to get hold of some HR824's the MK1's....they are the best for Dnb. Loads of heads are still using them

Subsonic, cheers for that man, ive been trying to remember what Mackie ones ive seen in loadsa dnb studios and these are the beauts! Although ill have to start searching for some cos i can only find the MK2!
