DJ Hype's KISS show cut to 1 hour

they did the same thing with the logan sama show
dont make sense when more and more people are listening to more underground types of music

i guarantee these slots will be filled with uk top 40 shiiiit

I wouldn't say that, theres been more specialist shows then ever in the last few years.

I remember when they had no shows that specialized in Jungle/Drum & Bass, UK Garage & Grime.

Course it will if they want to 'enable the station to compete with the likes of Capital and Galaxy FM'.
 
This sucks, out of all radios show Hype is my favourite by an absolute fucking mile. I see somebody commented 'This is the Kiss of death'- bad pun but true shit

Get rid of Crissy Criss on 1xtra and replace with Hype. I'd rather it was Bailey and then Hype for 6 hours than Bailey and then Crissy Criss. Normally turn off after Bailey's done

I know. You can't really do much in an hour. I would complain to KISS but I know it's not going to change their decision. They've obviously decided that chasing ratings is more important to them than offering quality specialist shows
 
again this is fucking shit

if people actually used the listen again function rather than downloading rips of the shows the radio station might actually realise that there is a big audience for dnb / specialist shows

unfortunatly most people just download a link for the mp3 and never even vist the actuall radio website resulting in poor listening figures
