So, I grabbed to fabriclive mix from emperor the other day (well, few weeks ago, but doenst matter), and I heard near the end a hat that felt like it was in the background. But to me feeling it doenst have the ring to it from a reverb... So... What am I missing here?

The hat comes in at 20:27. Just listen from 20:20 and you'll hear it coming in.
(if someone knows that tune btw, enlighten me!)

It's probably an enveloper plug in where the release stage is amplified. I use Logic's enveloper to bring out the ring of a snare.

Adjust the release time to fit accordingly then raise the volume of the release stage. You may have some unwanted sound at the end of the release so just bounce it and use a small fade out

seems like it it a mix of chorus and panning of 2 slightly differently EQ'd versions of the hats. maybe sample delay also
