    need some hi hats pretty bad if anyones got any they could share? All mine are shite and cant find anything i want!

    But actually you should detune some rides, low pass it and compress it a bit (for the open ones).

    If people want some quality samples in general, the vengeance house packs are really good. Especially good for thumping kicks.

    i got a real nice drum pack the other day not for drum & bass but still some really nice hi hats, will load them up when i can.

    deadmau5 sample pack is great for hits. hats, snares and kicks, many of them already nicely processed so it's just a case of layering and eqing. i'd highly recommend it if you're serios about making your own breaks
