AKG K271 Mk2 or Ultrasone HFI-2200?

Which one is more suitable for producing Dubstep and Drum & Bass?
Need a good bass response, so the AKG K271 Mk2 or the Ultrasone HFI-2200 or maybe something else.

Hey mate,

i have the K272HD and i must say that they are pretty awesome.
But you have to know that producing with headphones is nearly impossible.
Don't think there is any headphone set with realistic bass/sub response.
At least not the AKG. You have good basses but poor under maybe 70hz.
Dont know the other one you are talking about. Never heard about too.
Akg is a trusted brand you can go for those but don't expect to produce a track from bottom to top with only headphones.

Have to say: when i say poor response, it's a volume matter. Basses/sub are never distorted or whatever. Just attenuated.

That's why I have monitors, but yeah I need some good headphones with a good bass response to work with in the evening or night. When everyone is asleep.

Yep i see, it was my case too. But for synthesis i prefer to work with monitors. Btw you can take the Akg for what you need.

i have the AKGs and they are really bass heavy, doesnt even seem like theyre made for producing tbh not even remotely flat, seems more like listening headphones.
