A Bunch of Cuts returns to The Arches in London Bridge on Friday October 16th for its 3rd almighty session, but this time We Fear Silence are offering you the opportunity to be a part of it.

We’re running a competition to offer one lucky bugger the chance to open the night, DJing in the main room. What we need from you is a mix that represents the sound of the night – and remember, this is a warm-up slot!

Fancy your chances? Then there are two ways to get your mixes to us…either, put the mix up on a file delivery site and email the download link (and track list) to hello@wefearsilence.com or send us a CD with track listing to:

ABoC DJ Comp
The Arches
51 – 53 Southwark St
London Bridge
SE1 1RU

Include your name, DJ name (if different), email address and a contact number on the CD or your email. Mixes should be no longer than 45 minutes please. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!

The winner will play the first hour in the main room at A Bunch of Cuts before Calibre, D Bridge, Doc Scott, Klute & Marcus Intalex and we’ll include your name on promo where possible.

Deadline for entries is Wednesday 30th September with the winner announced shortly after.

Why are you reading this bit? You should be on your decks by now…

Good luck!

You thought we'd forgotten didn't you? Oh no, just letting you all do your thing and get those mixes in - of which we received ALOT!

Admittedly more than we expected and so its taken us ages to go through them...we've got it down to 3.

The winner will be announced tomorrow...

Stay tuned.

Well, we had an overwhelming response to the competition so thank you all for your entries, but there can be only one winner! The standard ranged from the totally inappropriate to the downright bizarre, with some entries being discarded based on tracklisting alone. We have chosen the winner and after much deliberation (hence the delay - sorry!) we went with the entry that the office collectively felt was closest to what we were after - it takes you up, down, sideways and back up again in the 45 minutes available. A technically sound mix, the tracklisting isn’t too obvious and is a touch more challenging than your average D&B mix, which is in part what ABoC is all about. So, congratulations to The Illusionist & Darm! The winning mix can be downloaded here for a limited period…

Well done and see you all on Friday!

Downloaded this the other day and listened to it last night, quality mix, great tracks and mixed very well, got a really nice vibe to and perfect as a warm up mix.
Tracklist would be nice though!
