Rah and another planet, both got me into dnb
fair play rah is a wicked tune
incrdible by general levy in 1994!
LTJ Bukem - Atlantis
Probably some proto-jungle, like Mr Kirk's Nightmare, I don't really remember.
Jungle mania CD/Album, getting advertised on the tele back in 93-94 I thought fuck me Im having that shit , I loved all the tracks
same tune, same year like me
Van damme getting jiggy in kickboxer
hackney hardcore ( dance hall dangerous ) back in 1991
kinda jungle track. i still play it now and again
acen - trip to the moon or rebel mc - tribal base
i was into the prodigy before i even went to a rave,so i would have to say it was probably a tune from them as they got me into the scene.
Andy C 03/04 Slammin Vinyl New Years Eve (opens with rah)
it was more of a set that was the first thing i heard, all the tunes in that set smashed it! BIG!
Probably the 'Ready Or Not' remix, think it was the aphrodite one...
pendulum - slam got me into dnb
Unoficial Ghost - Doc Scott. defo my first dnb track!!
and i ran and started copping bits
Platinum Breaks def. got me started....before that i had heard some tunes, but nothing grabbed hold of my soul quite like Metalheadz sound
it was the s. the u. the p. the e. the r. way back when. (with all the remix business going on these days, is anyone else suprised super sharp shooter hasn't been given the modern touch?)
Quoting myself now after i had a little think,i do really remember the Reinforced sound pricking my ears up among the pianos and kickdrums!!!
same as Dustek i reckon, 4Hero - Mr Kirks Nightmare
or if you don't count that as DNB, Lenni De Ice - We Are IE...
I started with hardkore breaks/proto jungle back in '91. I had heard some 4/4 stuff b4 but the 140+ breaks was what did it for me.
