WHAT LABEL? Thread

Chilled tuna mate, but i think the reeces need more work before you send it out. Drumwork is good though, look through some liquid labels we posted in this threads :) And deactivate the DL on soundcloud if you want the tune to be released mate.

Okay guys, does anyone know a label that releases both DnB & House/UK Bass? Looking for the dancefloor direction, something like MTA but a label that also listens to demos sent in via mail :P

Hey guys,
I'm pretty much done with my latest song except for some mixing and mastering.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I'm thinking about sending it to a label or two.
Would this be good enough? And if so, what labels should I try? I honestly don't know the subgenre, cause it's not really liquid and it's not really neurofunk either.

HI guys..

This isn't completely finished yet need to give it a final mixdown as well as adding some vocal layers etc.

An idea for who to send it to would be good... I had set my sights on spearhead at some point but don't think its uplifting enough to be sent there.

It's a private link so just remove the space right before the track title.

Thanks in advance

The link is broken. Sorry for the late reply though!

Awesome track lad! Yeah, I don't find it uplifting enough for Spearhead.

The main label that is coming in my head is Intrigue Music: https://soundcloud.com/intriguemusic
Other Labels also:
CIA Records (their Deepkut series)
the Fokuz family - Fokuz, Celsius and Expressions
Demand Records
and Integral Records

Good luck! :D

Resurrecting this thread again cause it was really helpful last time.

For the past 6 months i've been working on a techno/house EP which is sort of slightly lo-fi
There's a lot of variation within the EP in terms of tempo, mood and track structuring (some heavy dancefloor tracks, some melancholy tracks, one which is more sillly and playful, some very musical, some less so) but the common threads are 4 to the floor and simplistic sound design.

As I don't listen to much music these days I'm having trouble finding a label. Was looking at anjunadeep but I think it's a bit ambitious and I'm sure there's someone here who has a better idea than me

Will post some samples in NT + TR once I'm done mastering :)

Hello everyone!

First of all, I'm really happy finding this forum & thread. Gread idea! :)

I've finished a track called "I will love you". Really looking forward to your feedback and maybe one can suggest a label :)

Thanks in advance!

I am thinking Viper. It is a liquid-vibe but dancefloor tune imo.
There is also small labels like Limitless and Nu:Venture which might like this track.

These are the ones that popped in my head for now. Others will probably tell you more.

Anyone know of labels supporting the half-time, deep, sound at the moment? Similar vein to Critical maybe?
Flexout Audio? Very do-able for a first release, large enough to be worthwhile but not so large as to be inaccessible

Here's a few extracts from my EP, not really sure where might accept something like this.

I'm also looking for music blogs who might publicize a little.

Thanks for the recommendation smoothassilk, will send them some bits.

Not sure about where for your bits...but I like that 3rd clip though, would be cool to hear the rest of it!

A neuro label for sure. I am thinking BTK's Dutty Audio. Citrus Recordings is good as well. I am no expert in neuro labels but think along those lines and you're there. Nice track btw.

Thanks Mesonance :) Great idea for a thread by the way.

So has anyone actually got signed off the back of this thread?
