what equipment to use for recording?

    I was just wondering what recording program that you guys use to record a mix with and what cabling you use to hook it up?

    cassette tape deck and a microphone held in front of the speaker

    I use a M-Audio sound card, and a program called Audio Lab

    i use my rec out from the mixer via cable to the mac. and i use sound studio to record, then convert to mp3 via itunes. init bruv o_O

    atm.. amp-minidisc then minidisc - pc via soundcard and supermp3 recorder... Ive also recently started using Nero Wave editor to remove some of the hiss Im getting.
