My aim is to make a legendary CD of Drum & Bass for a friend who has never actually heard the genre. So far I've got the following tracks:

    • Pendulum vs. The Freestylers - Fasten Your Seatbelt
    • Pendulum - Hold your colours
    • Pendulum - Streamline
    • High Contrast - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
    • High Contrast - Everythings Different
    • High Contrast - Return Of Forever
    • Vortex Involute - Believe
    • Vortex Involute - Lifted Up Spirit
    • Aphrodite - King Of The Beats
    • Aphrodite - Superman (Jungle Remix)
    • Aphrodite - Ganja Man

If anyone could provide any additions or changes to the list it would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I have a limit of 80 minutes, which is why I'm trying to pack the CD with the best I can find.

if you are after jungle classics, check my jungle mix at the top of the members mixes section, you might get some ideas from there. Oh an Fasten Your Seatbelt is actually a breakbeat track ;)

My friend dosnt know that ;)

See the thing is, I downloaded and listened to a whole heap of Drum & Bass tracks and the tracks in the list are the ones I chose. I ignored tracks by Konflict, Nosia, Chase And Status and so on... Not because I don't like the tracks they have but because I don't think my friend would like them much.

But yeah, I reckon jungle would fit well.

I can't thank you enough ScOtty, seriously. Jenna G - In Love is unbelievable, best drum and bass voice I've heard.

Thank you so much for showing me how good Subfocus is. I can't get over how great 'Airplane' by Subfocus is.

Those two tracks are (no doubt) going on the CD. I wasnt able to find D-Bridge - True Romance anywhere. I'm still looking though, but it seems that track is invisible.
