So far as I know FLAC is a teensiest bit higher quality than WAV with absolutely massive file sizes.

FLAC files are smaller than WAVS, otherwise it would be a completely pointless compression format, seeing as they sound the same.

FLAC files are about 30 to 50% smaller than a WAV but are lossless, i.e sound identical. FLAC is not higher quality than a WAV.
