I was almost not gonna give you an answer cos it was a Shikari video.

But I will cos I'm nice :D:D

sounds like a white noise being panned from left to right a little. maybe side chained a bit too.

Check out side chained in google and you'll know what i mean.

Think that's what it is anyway...

Thanks ^^

I'm not massive on Shikari myself but its the only example i've heard for a while.

Also are we listening to the same thing? I was talking about that short ,swirling bassy sound that plays at 0:58 , not the hissing in the background.

Yeah. Wait hold on. I'll listen again...

Ok.. I'm assuming you don't mean the kick...

Do you mean the bass that's got an LFO on it?

If so, then I need to know what DAW you're using.

its a sine or cuttoff pulse waveform with a wide attack on a pitch envelope and a fast slight pitch and cuttoff lfo working in unison with eachother. thats whats making the riser bass sound at :58.
Sorry but 2:12 & 2:22 bass are hench with that distorted leady sound. I never listened to enter shikari - but themz a big bass sound.
