swap stanton str8150 for technics 1210s

i have got a pair of stanton str8 150 decks and they are by
far the best decks i have ever played on (and yes i have
played on loads). they are far superior to any other deck the
torque is unmatched and the motors are in the same condition
as the day i bought them from new. i love these decks and do
not want to get rid of them. but every where i play out
people use the most beat up shit sets of technics imaginable
so i need to get some more technics experience. i am looking
to swap for a set of 1210's, i dont really care what condition
they are in as long as they work. the stantons would be ideal
for any type of dj and i can do mixes on these that i just cant
do on beat up technics. if anyones interested let me no.
you are welcome to come and use them first.

You're right though, I've got a couple Stanton t120c's and i find them so much better than 1210s. they're the same price as mk3s but they've got all the features that the mk5s have got, better torque etc. much preferred mixing on the stantons but finally had to buy 1210s for the same reason's you said. shame really!
 
Rather than swapping, why not just sell them and then get some 1210's off ebay? I know I wouldnt swap my 1210's for some Stantons. Not in a million years.

if you wanna get 1210's off the internet try gumtree.com, there loads of good deals iv just bought a mint condition set whick look brand new for £300, its a lot better than ebay for bargains imo

im not bothered wat theyre like preferably i want shit ones
coz thats the best conditions to practice under for playin live,
some of the clubs i have played in have had well fukd dex
and i need to get used to that.
 
Mate just go on ebay and sell your stantons, then buy a pair of 1210 mk 2s, if you look well enough you can get a pair of mint condition mk 2s for about £300, and I do mean MINT condition

Seriously my mate told me there is a candy orange version of the 1210 coming out and for an extyra tenner he sez he'll glue his ginger pubes to it for you , but sounds liek you could do that your self ...a in house customisation so to speak
