Sound Quality On Recorded Mixes?

    Anyone know any tricks for improving sound quality using Audacity? Just started recording my mixes and don't know anything about Audacity. Playback is sounding a little distorted.

    Make sure youre not clipping Audacity

    Dont go over 0db on your mixer

    ^^^^that above, make sure ya recordin levels aren't clippin red, best to record low and then you can boost levels in a mastering suit maybe... :)

    if you use wavepad sound editor (its free) you can record it quietly and the program has a thing where you can amplify it
