Made a few sounds in NI massive and put them on a CD to open on a different computer, but NI massive wont load them.

They open fine on the computer that i have made them on.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Only thing that pops into my head is that the version of Massive that wont open the files is an earlier version. Would this have anything to do with it.

    Thanks

you've kinda answered it yourself , check if the versions are the same?

i think that a newer version of massive will be able to play old sounds but not vice versa

yes, since 1.1.3 massive wont communicate with older versions. just upgrade your version on the other pc and you should be fine

iirc it works both ways. just no communication between old and new updates.

enjoy the crashes then. ive heard crashing computers produce the best sub bass there is, so make sure to stick a mic near your pc every time you load massive..

it only crashes if you want to add a lfo / envelop to a knob , before i fixed it i had to resample everything to add an envelop to a filter

all sorted now and 180 better off!
