    I've just aquired another PC.
I'm going to Run nothing but Max/MSP on it but I want to control it from cubase on my main PC.
I've seen some MIDI over IP products of widly varying price, but I have no idea if there any good, or if there's any free versions out there.

Anyone have any experience of setting these things up, or whats out there and if its any good?

    The obvious, silly question:

Why not just use MIDI cables?
