hard synths

im looking to buy a hard synth but not sure which one to get, i want one for pads, sound fx etc preferably sounds you'd use for dnb...can anyone give me some advice? in the price range of 150 - 200 pounds..

cs1x (or 2x or 6x, the higher the better) is good if youre about the budget gear, mind you, you will have to work with it in audio unless youre about to start messing with material voices

sorry i ment like a vst not keyboard based synth, just one that you plug into your sound card and play through cubase or something, cheers any way dude.

ok no problem, its a midi controller that you want, and ive got the emu25 key which im very happy with, another very popular model is the m-audio oxygen series, well worth looking into.
