First liquid WIP

not bad for your 1st liquid attempt..

try adding a high passed amen break in the background to give some airy shuffle. :)

if u take an amen break, make sure its the same tempo of ur track
then add eq, n take out all the low end (like up to 500hz or something)
you want the groove of the break to be in your track without all the bottom-end

add that into your track, not too loud though..have a listen and it should sound a little more 'shuffley'.
it helps if the amen is playing the same beat as ur kicks/snares, but just mess around untill you like the sound of something :)

hmm heard much better from you mate! sounds very basic, and it doesnt really have any energy or groove, sorry to be so negative, but its only coz you've posted up much better stuff in the past, keep at it man!

this is cool man feel the drums need to be more wet atm they sound kinda dry and not too smooth atm i think a good break or 2 behind that would really do the trick but it doesnt sound like you use breaks ??

No i don't, i've learnt that just this minute by devz ;p.
I just picked a kick(1 or2),snare(1 or 2), 3 hi hats, 1 ride
and then i try to make a drum pattern

But i've just learned that you need to use breaks ;p
Major addition to my Knowledge in producing ;p
