Element - Generation (my first track, can anyone feedback please)

Hi everyone, this is my first track that I produced on Reason 4. Can ya have a listen and give me some feedback on it, just want to put it out there and get some views on it see if I'm goin wrong anywhere. Cheers everyone in advance!

i like the vocal, other than that you just have to put the hours in if you want to make a good tune. basically i think everything could be better, one obvious thing is the hard panned bass synth, which would sound better mono.

how would you reckon i go about making it mono in Reason 4? cheers for your input man

i dont know reason but resample to mono or pan it middle then theres probably some switch on the sampler for stereo separation.

cheers for ya help man, that video has helped me quite a bit with understanding the whole layering thing and helping me to progress a little more in the right direction. Is he using logic there, im quite into looking to get logic but I don't really want to go through a whole new learning process after getting so used to reason. What are you using to create tunes? cheers for ya help
