    First in a new series aiming to explore music loosely labelled as 'Drumfunk', looking at some of the key artists and labels that promote the sound.

    I've no idea what music labelled loosely as drumfunk is but I'll give it a spin bro...

    i'd label drumfunk as jungle with emphasis on diverse & creative drumpatterns

    Just out of interest would you listen to it if it was called 'jungle'? I sense a marketing thing going on here with the change of names. Sneeky.

    it sounds a tad distorted but the selection and mixing between tracks is really nice and seamless! :)
    i don't know if you've checked out the new Technical Itch records but the drums in many tracks are splendid, like Theseus for instance...

    listened half way the other day, need to finish it off though. selection was really on point as ever.
