Do you think Calibre is underrated, gets enough credit?

Fair enough guys didn't know he didnt send out dubs/play out loads

his non liquid stuff is cool too like Consulate Charm, went off a treat in the Zinc/Eksman/Det AC 2003
 
musique concrete doesn't get enough credit. far and away calibre's best collection of tunes IMO

most (but not all) of his more recent stuff doesn't really interest me that much. not saying it's bad but a bit too introspective and downtempo for me, doesn't seem to have the same kind of energy as the early stuff. the collab with D/Bridge 'Ponderosa' was sick though

probably one of the best gigs i went too was mark prichard, teebs and calibre in a real small club, his selection was unreal and drs complimented him perfectly.

amazing producer, doesnt often do something way outside the box but shits on 90% of producers, youll rarely find a bad tune and his good tunes are off tits.
Id think most producers are jealous of his output and the way hes gone about releasing his music he always keeps control and his integrity, something others in drum n bass should do.
one of the best ever i recon and im not even a huge fanboy, hes a great artist

on topic of ST Files, I agree, very very underrated. seems like marcus intalex gets all the credit for their collabs

probably because he doesnt make much solo stuff, but when he does... love his track called 'cold front' on Dat Music II (cant find audio on youtube) so rough yet funky

ST Files is still making music, though around the time of Intalex's album of 21, an interviewer asked why there was a lack of ST on the album. Marcus said it was cause he just had a kid, so there's that.

Also note that ST Files started a small label, with it's debut release being Falling Down (with Calibre) backed with The Void (a solo track). Not sure if it has any other releases.

Would say that was my favourite release of last year, amazing tracks.

On top of his own stuff, Calibre is one of the best remixers around.
