fish recordings is another one of those unknown, not really needed and
superficial attempts to gain acceptance within an underground
music-scene which are usually called "label".
it is based right in the middle of nowhere (and if you are honest you do
not really want to know!). dj zoidberg and mc moby dick, the two
dilettantes behind this fun project will do a lot to get some attention:
they take some stupid beats, a bit of unfunny artwork and too much silly
promo texts and release it for free (due to the fact that nobody will
buy this crap!)
music should be a fun thing and bring people together to have a good
time. so, dont get fat-assed sitting at your computer, having no friends
and life and being broke all the time like the idiots running this right
here and take the stuff and show it to everybody!

Internet Recordings provides legal free music in digital form (= mp3 downloads) in random intervals. These mp3 downloads have catalogue numbers (www001, www002 etc) and a proper format including standardized file names and tags. The downloads are accompanied with file info, some basic information on the artists, links to their respective homepages or social network profiles (if available) and sometimes pictures or even artwork. However, the main focus is on music and information; the label does not even have a logo yet.

Internet Recordings is inspired by Drum & Bass netlabels such as Plain Audio, T-FREE, Exegene (R.I.P.), HMSU, Zardonic and the free tunes provided by Santorin, BBC 1 Extra and many artists on their own...

In our opinion, the internet leads to pretty much the end of commercial music distribution. This is because the post Millenium generation growing up with internet from their early childhood are not willing to pay for something they can also have for free... Therefore, netlabels are by default the legal music distributors of tomorrow.

This is an older track that came out on a label called Lo:Cuts.
I think it was a very small pressing, and the label folded after its second release because its distro went bankrupt and I never heard from them again.
The vinyl hasn’t been available for a long time and I don’t even know what the label people are doing these days or where they are.

The breakworks are quite experimental to say the least, hehe, and something I wouldn’t do anymore, but I still love the overall vibe of the track.
