Where to start..

I've been doing my research 'n' all and I'm thinking of getting some decks. Do I wait to save up for some more long lasting equipment or do I get some cheaper ones to start out on?

If I get some long term ones then it'll obviously last me longer.
But if I get some cheaper ones, then I might end up forking out even more money if they break or whatever.

Sorry for explaining it so badly, but if anyone could give me an insight or some advice, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

what budget you lookin at?

most people will recommend technics 1210s as they'll last you many years (and hold their value fairly week depending on age) without the need to replace anything - unless you drop them down some stairs. and even then you probably won't need anything repaired....

mixer wise, that's the sort of thing you upgrade and replace regularly depending on your needs and circumstances.

1210's
They'll outlive you.
I have standard Numarks. They're alright. But i'm already saving up for some 1210's lol.

I'm fairly sure you can get your hands on a couple of 1210's for no more than about £350.

I could be wrong though, haven't checked for a while.
