Scene would benefit from a return...
doesnt one of the dudes do Darkestral? Nico, fuck knows ...
Didn't know Nico was involved in darkestral. Makes sense I guess. I just remember this label being really massive... surprised I haven't seen anything recently released as a 'No U turn record'.
Edtrafienical is coming out on a joint release with No U Turn & Sublogic. NUT035 i think. Only 150 pressed though and that was a one off. So no more releases I guess.
No U Turn were quite a dark label back in the day!
Nico, Trace and Ed Rush, ah the good ol days!
The Torque LP was proper dark! As far as I know the label ceased business years ago!
alot of labels should be brought back but it just wouldnt be the same.
+ audio blueprint
two more labels i miss
nico is still about i think, this tune came out last year...
yeh i know nico is still about. The flipside 'empire' is killer. just wondered why they ceased business, when they had releases from serious producers, who still put out tunes.
I think you are getting mixed up. Rico runs Darkestral, not Nico.
I spoke to fierce ages ago, I'm sure he said it might be making a come back(?) and Nico Sykes does seem to be popping up on a few releases, so watch this space.
All about 96-98 era for no u turn imo
Excellent site, keep up the good work.thanks for sharing with us.keep up posting.
He did a colab for Exit last year with Instra:Mental called - Horse. Was on Aptitude series.
After Turnmills shut last year, they hosted a room for Alchemy @ Ministry, thought it was supposed to be a regular ting, but haven't heard anything since, so fuck knows whats happened...
It was off the hook, one of the best raves I went to last year.
