This mix here is just a big fat reminder of my teenage years as i was a very frequent visitor to Boogie Times Records in Romford Essex, home of Suburban Base Records (studio was above the shop in the early years)
I used to get every track on Promo and just loved the sound they had always pushed, sadly most have been sold now and i only have a few from the early releases. Anyway, when i found this mix earlier i nearly had a sex wee (joke) as i know i'm gonna love it, hope some of you do too!

81 Sub Base tracks in the mix from one of the uk’s original Hardcore/Jungle/D&B label’s!

thanks mate, i also spent my saturdays and my days off in there, i forst started buying records in 1988/89 so it must have been around then when i was about 17 ish. As I lived in Barking I either had Music Power in Ilford or Boogie Times to choose from, and boogie Times won hands down.
Like you, i got most of their releases on promo but luckily enough i have manages to keep hold of most of them, well, I know for a fact I havnt sold any, but with so many records I cant find a few of them.

I have downloaded the mix and im sure it will bring back some grfeat memories.

cheers

Music power...i used to go there sometimes to get tickets when Boogie didn't have any, never bought any vinyl there though.

Talking about the vinyl that i sold, it did go to a friend so it's still about.Might get it all back some day.
