Stuck! PLEASE HELP!

I was working on this dnb rap megamix type thing with all my fave rappers. it was nearly finished and would start to lag when i played it. i kept adding vst's and effects and theres about 50 midi tracks or something. and now when i start reaper and click one thing it just crashes and closes.

Ive been working on this tune for a few weeks and i don't want to loose all that i was working on. i want to start rendering some midi tracks to audio but it crashes as soon as i try. please help!

oh man that's bad... do you have any back up files?

if not, can you close the patches you have absolutely memorized and lower your CPU a little?
