spectrum analyzer use

i just wanted to know where and how i use the voxengo spectrum analyzer.


where is the right channel to connect the spectrum analyzer in cubase that it shows the original spectrum scales? i eg. got the voxengo to the battery channel and connected it with the high Herz but now i dont know if i have to connect the voxengo spectrum analyzer everytime i do something with breaks

Hi mate,

i guess it depends on what you want to see :)
If you just want to EQ your drums, make a group track, put all your drum output to it an open your spectrum analyzer as an insert effect in you group track. Then you'll see all your drums spectrum.
Another way:
For my part i use a lot of group tracks:
I use one or two for the drums, depending on effects i want to put on, one for the bass, one for the pads etc...
Then i route every group track to a last group track. In this ultimate one, i put my spectrum analyser.
Then, depending on what i want to analyse, i mute the useless tracks...

I'm kinda lazy and just chuck it on the master and mute stuff when I want to look at individual sounds as everything is on individual tracks in most of my tunes so I can just mute what I don't need.
