Hey DNB headz I've been after this sound for quite a while now, and it is very prominent in the syle of jungle I listen to. To me I think its a guitar with a good amount of Tremolo on it. But I need to get more specifics. Heres a link to Doc Scott's Far away. The first hit in the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAfdX8EXUbs
    Thanks Rvp117

Likely using Tremolo perhaps but its not really needed! That could create that effect for sure but its just a nice funky chord with heavy use of a wah pedal :)

If you are a guitarist trying to recreate the sound any wah pedal will do!

If you just want that sound in a tune of your own though and aren't a guitarist why not sample it?

Your right, I'm no guitarist. Sampling would be the most efficient way to go about it, then repitch the sample to the key of the song. And like you said its mostly just a wah wah effect. Love it man thanks for your help.
