should i sell up??

Sell some of your records but, not all.

I had a big clear out a while ago, got rid of 100 records which I didn't really use anymore.

Since then bought myself a few more expensive ones from Discogs like Teddy said and fell back in love with mixing.

Now I am just waiting to get a set of decent turntables for my birthday and I'll be buzzing (mixing absolutely shite decks at the min)

Perhaps using a women in what I was explaining wasn't the right thing, but replace women with friend/acquaintance/whatever and you get the jist of what I am saying eyebrows.

Haha I was thinking you must have been on an eternal dry spell if that was your tactic. But yeh, youe overall point is true

I can't imagine what my missus would have said if thats the way I tried to chat her up. Probably wouldn't be with her now!

Gotta love the newbie on the other page giving me "advice" over my analogy! Get back to your pornhub and kleenex noob.

If I'm actually gonna weigh in on the original question....I wouldn't say selling up your 1210s is that bad - you can always buy some back in the future. Never sell you record collection though, it's not easily re-collected. Probably already been said

Traktor can perform outstandingly when your hardware is set up correctly. Even Windows & Traktor can get on (in extreme circumstances :))

If you have any issues always check the help pages as I've been dj'ing out with Traktor for 8 years now and touch wood (jinxed it haven't I) I've never had a single problem!

It is obvious you are very clever and any response would be futile.

At any rate, there are apparently other people who have had or witnesses similar experiences to me. It's a pretty personal decision that the OP is going to have to decide for himself. However, many of us have had the same idea of saving everything for some future point and it ends up becoming more of s burden than a treasure.

Oh yeah so funny thing, I actually had a girl round last night and ended up showing her a bunch of my marbled records. She was genuinely well interested

I have just taken the digital plunge with a Traktor S4 and my Macbook. I have to say that it has reinvigorated my interest in mixing and finding new music to mix with.

I still have all of the vinyl, mixer and 1210s that I have setup in my shed and it will stay there forever because its a pretty good collection.

Wait let me get this straight.. You are going to bring a girl back... And show her your record collection

BHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA
