I've had mixed success with the search function tbh.
Make sure you've got the ticks in or out depending on your preference. I was searching for something several times until I realised I was only searching in the thread i was already in.

The default is "Search this forum only". I'll see if I can remove that checkbox so it searches the entire forum.
