Damien Simonot is 24 years old french, born in paris and presently living in the south of Germany in a little town called Costance.
He stumbled into dnb whilst doing an alternative-rock show at local radio station. " i can't remember why but somebody gave me TeeBee's "human raptile", so basically that must have been around 200/2001. That tune simply fascinated me. " Since then dnb has been a major part of Proktah's life.. First as an mc then as a producer and now finally also as dj. He started producing around 2004 under the alias of "frenchi" and kept on going, producing all kinds of styles. Concentrating on the more technical aspects of this sound since 2006, herecently changed his name into proktah
His style is heavily influenced by the pioneers of neuro-funk. But sticking to his musical roots - reggae and alternative rock - Proktah's style is heavily influenced by one within the wide range of today's neurofunk.
Proktah is responsable for the a&r of the uprising Flight Recordings. A US/germany based dnb label with a big future coming up. Featured artist are N.Phect, Misantrop, Dementia & Regularia, lost Sequence, Proktah himself and more.
With forthcomimg releases on the mighty Shadybrain, Basswerk, Flight Rec. Close2Death and melting Pot imprints, as well as have a break Re and Trust in Music Rec and more to be confirmed, Proktah is definately worth keeping an eye on in the near future

No Money is the hottest new Drum & Bass duo on the block. Consisting of George Ramik aka DJ C.Phone and Johnny Kurecka aka DJ Limitedd, No Money are setting dancefloors alight with their unique blend of heavy hitting, crowd pleasing D&B. With over 7 years professional experience, MC Coppa has co-headlined in Europe and beyond alongside a wide range of artists from Concord Dawn, Dkay, Logistics, Futurebound, Dillinja, Nosia, Black Sun Empire, Hazard, Dilinja, Bailey, Dieselboy, Dom and Roland, Roni Size, Adam F, Marcus Intalex, Danny Byrd, Aphrodite, to name a few, across the whole spectrum of drum and bass.
