REPERCUSSION - new monthly sessions - info inside...

New Member
We return to Repercussion’s original home of Nottingham for a new monthly session, every first Wednesday of the month at the plush Snug Lounge Club in the city centre. Trying to keep to the blueprint of why we started all this in the first place, expect at least one artist’s Nottingham debut each month, d&b DJs getting the chance to play other music they like in the second room (which will be a real melting pots of styles), 90 minute and 2 hour sets, skilled lyricists, a couple of label night specials, and general good vibes!
Representing on the launch night are two of the hottest names around right now – headlining is D-Bridge of Exit Records, Metalheadz and Bad Company UK bringing his own unique brand of aggressively beautiful beats, alongside Artificial Intelligence, who have blown up in the last 12 months or so with killer releases on Soul:R, Commercial Suicide and V amongst others.
It’ll be 90 minute sets apiece, with the microphone duties being held down by the SP:MC and the original Repercussion host, Manikular. Of course you’ve got the Repercussion DJs warming things up, and downstairs will be the usual Deepercussion grooves to keep things bubbling.
Also watch out for a series of very limited edition Repercussion mix CDs with a couple of top d&b names on the case, and for those of you in the south of England, a couple of the crew are involved in a new night called Sonar in Brighton – details coming soon from Wylie….as for things in London…wait and see….
