Hello, im totally new into reason. I used to work with fruity loops but.. i think reason can make me further.

My question. If i put some notes in the edit mode, and i play them in the arrange mode, reason keeps playing and doesn't stop when the part ends. So i have to click stop and... and...

    Are my preferences wrong or??

    Sorry for my bad english..

    grtz

nothing is wrong its just how it is.

you can set the loopers, but it it wayyyy too much of a hassle, and they dont stop the playing.

You will get used to it soon enough

that doesnt make much sense to me, i use reason alot. the notes should not last longer than the parts do visually in the piano roll, sounds like something is wrong??

    To set L :

hold ctrl and left click on the time bar

    To set R :

hold alt and left click on the time bar

Use the spacebar to stop the playback if reaching for the mouse and clicking stop is too much hard work ;)

This is a good point, some instruments you load up have a pattern sequencer patched in with them controlling the notes they play.
