well gravity is the thing isn't it?
You want to have it side-up so the central label part is most raised, that way when it heats up it will lower back down to the FLAT surface you have it on.

Cant hurt to do both sides, as a lot of kinks seem to run both ways. Its not a cure-all, but does work to an extent and won't damage the vinyl (as long as you don't spill boiling water directly on it)

Tried this on a piece that was warped (an I wasnt too fuckd if it didnt work!) an guess what?

It didnt work! still the same ol warped disc
:shake:

Spew I am the :weakest:

I tried it about four years ago and it worked, gonna try again this weekend on some bits I got and if it don't work then HEY. We all buy one of those record press thingies I guess ...

mesh deals the false info

no, i did try it and it kind of worked.

vinyl may have had a diff molecular sturcture 4 years ago. :wtf:

Is it more playable, less skippable? Hope so ...
I think the vinyl thickness would affect how well it heats up, but molecular structure .. shit I hope I'm not THAT old.
I know it works to an extent, as long as the vinyl gets as warm as it needs to to warp.

I guess ' kind of worked ' is the best way to describe it. God I need a drink
:drunk: :rinsed:
