As well as including our newly added talent: Spincycle, Cephus, Wisdom, and a *SPECIAL DEBUT SET* by MINERVA. We welcome everyone to come and hope you enjoy! With a heavy interest in music since time has existed, Mike Katz (Dj Vertx) was turned onto the party circuit while it was in its largest movement - the late nineties. He first started organizing and hosting rave themed events in mid 2001, starting off with a fully versatile line up, and eventually focused his interest and time on more particular styles: such as the Dark-themed Drum-n-Bass and Heavy-Jungle, alongside having a full collection of all forms of Hip-Hop and Dance-Hall. Vertx gradually found himself often manipulating the two through their mediator being Reggae and incorporates all of the above sounds in each and every set. Through much admiration and respect for the scene and those in it Vertx continues hosting and playing events now on a regular basis mainly focusing on the New York Metro areas. Equipped with a pair of Technics (1210 M3Ds) and a record bag always over-stocked, Vertx prides himself on his ability to keep people smiling, dancing and having a good time with his music and style. Through on-going open-mindedness, sincerity, and charisma Vertx has enabled himself to make and keep many long-term friends/connections in the music scene and proudly continues to work alongside many different talented people over the past 5 years burning no bridges with an untarnished reputation. Although getting into the scene at a very early age many years ago, it seems that 2005 has proved to be a big year containing in it over 40+ events, including a summer bi-weekly, a featured spot on MTV’s Call To Greatness (airing in December), and a strong-held double-residency at a new popular college-based club called IMAGE, alongside a semi-posh City Spot called LINK. In addition to handling events and performing at them, Vertx has been building and maintaining a structured entertainment company over the past several years which is now well recognized and consists of many DJS, MCS, Producers, graphics specialists, and promoters.

DJ willie ross aka rich olstrom, born and raised in queens , ny. with his first release now available in stores, on OG recordings, titled "NY crunk n bass"(class of 98) , be prepared for much more to come. he started off playing jungle plates 8 years ago and hasnt looked back for one second. haveing played on the same bills as pish posh , diesel boy, dara, soul
slinger, ect........ his ol skool sound will make u fall back in love with jungle, and his mixing will make you want to buy a pair of decks. running the sounds off of rare plates from the early 90's, he stands and delivers each n every time. along with the old skool sound you can expect a number of original dubplates, made by himself and partner dj pish posh, other wise know as the duo "class of 98". if you havent seen him in action yet , you need to before you die. its a must , trust!

A long time friend of rave culture as a whole, it was only natural DJ Big Ears would evolve into the thriving artist he is today. Influenced by years of Hardcore and Jungle as a soldier on the dancefloor, this headstrong individual set out to inject his own flavor into underground dance culture. Blending raw mash-up, ragga, dark step, and hard step, this man laughs in the face of the status quo and serves up the variety and personality needed to satisfy the old school and educate the new.

Meshac P. AKA DJ Rexxx has been spinning since the age of 12. He started his career by independently doing house parties and private events with styles of music ranging everywhere from underground imported House, Hip Hop, Techno, Trip hop, to Reggae, Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. In '93 he was introduced to Drum & Bass and all of its affiliate genres; it's been love ever since. He's played in clubs like Limelight, Demaeara and Downtime to name a few.
His mixing, scratching, and beat juggling incorporate all of these different genres which have helped create the soundtrack to his life’s illest moments. As a self taught producer and DJ, he now produces his own tracks for independent groups such as Bomb Legacy (out of Arizona), Eyphlo, Dutch, Sage and Yonkee (an up & coming female reggae artist). Now working with UnderStandInc Entertainment, as well as with his own established production company Nytelife Productions, Rexxx aims to set himself apart from the norm and bring a "sound to the nightlife that’s unique and memorable, not the ol' ‘ziga-ziga’ fresh you always hear." His taste of music is eclectic so you don’t know what you might hear on one of his sets, but whatever it is you should know by now it’s gonna get you out on the dancefloor.
