    Hi all.

I just got myself a midi-synth, and a copy of Reason 3, and am going to try and start making some phat beats (look for me at all the big clubs this summer! 8) )

But I'm having some trouble getting started with the beats. Lets say for example that I create a Redrum device, and load up Redrum Drum n bass kit 04.
Sounds pretty silly, but how would I place the drums to make a simple DnB beat? It doesnt have to be very fancy, or advanced, I just need some help to get started right now. It´s like I can hear the beat in my head, but cant get it to sound like that. Help!

    Thanks in advance!

    See here.

I would suggest starting off using dnb breaks loops from Dr Rex. Until you get the hang of Reason, there's no point constructing your own beats from scratch.
