need help~

Wasn't sure whether to post here or in the Production section, but i need help with finding a decent program with which i can directly record turntable input. Was using Sonic Foundry, but not sure if that's the best thing.
Any help is appreciated.

The best apps for this kinda thing are the big 3 wave editors... Wavelab, Soundforge and Cool Edit.

But if you're not up for spending all that money (or using pirate software), you could do alot worse then checking out Goldwave. It's a free, pretty powerful wave editor in the vein of above apps. You can find it on the cover disc of Computer Music magazine (if you're in the UK)
