To celebrate our coming of age we've decided to bring you two of our favourite Drum & Bass and Future Music artists; showcasing what we've endeavoured to bring you over the last year with some eyes-down nastiness. After the bass weight masacre Octane & DLR delivered at our last event we've upped the ante once again with the internationally acclaimed Drum & Bass artists DATA and ANILE, preceded by local hero OLDBOY and Heavy Rain's finest BOMBYX MORI and POLKA this one's set to go through the roof and into outer space.

West London based producer 'Data' has been turning heads with his mature and different approach to modern day drum and bass production. Quickly rising through the ranks with a slew of signings, his tracks quickly found their way into many top dj's bags, including Goldie. Data's focus on ambience, groove, minimalism and experimentation provides a whole new take on current drum and bass.
A fan of technology, Data recalls experimenting with old Casio and Yamaha keyboards bought for him as a child. His dad's love of 70's rock lead to him following some bands around with a camcorder as a kid and that's when multimedia began to form in his mind. After being introduced to Drum and Bass through pirate radio stations and friend's mixtapes, Data was keen to the learn the art of mixing and began his exploration into the scene. Mixing lead to production and hooking up with his close friend, Nebulus. Making their first tunes on an Akai 3000 and an old Soundcraft desk (which Data still uses!), it was clear that he had a lot to learn and Data began to slowly piece together his equipment and skill. Playing on several pirate stations around London, Data eventually settled down into his weekend show on Life FM, run by Paul Roast. After playing his regular slot for many years, Data decided to lock himself away in the studio and really see how far he could take his production. Fast forward to 2010 and with colaborations with Burial and Goldie under his belt, Data's production continues to progress as he prepares for his forthcoming album, 'Making Simple Things Complex'.

After just four short years Anile has established himself as a competent producer/DJ with releases forthcoming on lables; Renegade Hardware, DeepSoul Music, Cylon, X-Tinction Agenda and Broken Audio plus residency at Kent’s coolest Drum & Bass event Liquid Sessions. With bookings spaced all across Europe ; from Italy to Slovakia and all in the middle the demand for Anile is Global The South East uk based artist, influenced musically by a range of genres from Heavy Rock to Classical music and everything between, has projects in the pipeline with June Miller, 2Shy MC, Gremlinz, Manifest, Raiden and many more. ‘Orthodox’ released on Cylon Recordings ‘Various Art EP’ , last year remains to be a definitive dance floor classic across the globe. With 12"s forthcoming on Phunkfiction, Deepsoul Music and Renegade Hardware plus support from artists Data, Loxy, Spectrasoul, D Bridge, Total Science, S.P.Y, Lenzman, Ink, Manifest, Raiden, Spirit Instra:mental and Gremlinz, Anile is certainly one to watch in 2010!
