That's exactly what I was thinking, pretty sure that apart from it being a dickish move if he's trying to get back at Clayton, it's not legal unless stated otherwise in a contract.

Oh its certainly some sort of breach of contract without a doubt. I'd find it unlikely that Hardware will follow with any sort of legal pursuits as that would turn into a shitstorm but this is definitely a big "no no"

As far as I know, RH didn't even had contracts in the first place, maybe they offered contracts to big guys like maztek, but small artists were not offered to sign anything
