    Jungle Style Pads | Help |

    Hey!
    I have recently been trying to create some authentic style jungle.
    and have been finding it hard creating jungle style pads.

    Im a using reason 4

    Where do I start?

    you start with the chord. its more the chord than anything else

    Yeah I have the chords I want to use
    i-vi-iii-vii
    in d minor

    just need to get the right sound from the pad.

    classic jungle pads werent in d minor. one way of doing it is super saws with a bit of lp, but its more the chord than the synth

    what scales were used?
    A minor?

    How do I make that synth then?
    Supersaw?

    you can find the supersaw samples on doas sampleswap and the scale is, whats it called again... Dmaj4 or whats that thing called

    Dmaj4? what notes are in that scale?

    I will have a look at the doa samples.
    I want to make the pad though as I am using Reason

    search here for super saws. they are the synths that hardstyle artists use, i.e. Headhunterz

    www.combinatorhq.com (only work for Reason)

    out about 6 Maelstrom synths set to saw tooth in one combinator, then slight eq, and have fun.
